You are not alone sis! I gave my time & heart to someone who didn’t deserve me for 15 years. I wanted things to work out with my daughter’s dad. I wanted to be a family. it took me 2 years to get out of my toxic relationship. he was abusive always accusing me of things I didn't do, cheated on me with my college best friend, wanted to check my phone to see who I was talking to, wouldn't allow me to hang out with my friends and only wanted me for himself. he wanted me to choose him over friends and family. we fought all the time and he would put me down and call me names and the final straw for me was when he told me to go jump off a bridge and kill myself I decided at that moment I didn't deserve the mental abuse anymore so I went to his house and broke up with him right in front of his mother and blocked him on everything and never spoke to him ever again. I also blocked my college ex best friend for hooking up with him when we were together and lying to me about it
